The Rob Seekamp Memorial Scholarship
Interested students from the Western Division of NSW are advised that The Rob Seekamp Memorial Scholarship has now been launched.
This tertiary course of study must be relevant to employment within the Western Division and is open to full-time or part-time students.
Guidelines and application forms will be available from the PAWD Site at Agfair and after that at the PAWD Office or can be emailed to interested parties.
Applications close on 30 June each year. An independent panel will decide the successful applicant.
Scholarship recipient will receive $2,500.00.
This scholarship is a tribute to the late Rob Seekamp of Woolcunda Station, via Broken Hill, who had a strong interest in promoting education for the betterment of folk living in the outback of NSW.
The scholarship will be in perpetuity and will be awarded annually.
The concept of this scholarship was initiated by representatives of the NSW Farmers Association, Pastoralists Association of West Darling and the Broken Hill Ag Fair committee, all in which Rob was involved, as an active member and office bearer.

The 2016 Scholarship was awarded to Sally Ann Smyth from Wilandra Station, Sally Ann's studies, Diploma in Agriculture
